This monofloral linden honey is harvested in Piedmont, Italy, where bees gather nectar exclusively from linden trees—also known as basswood or lime trees—prized for their fragrant blossoms and abundant nectar. Linden trees have long been central to European village life, often planted in town squares and valued for their longevity, shade, and symbolic ties to community and well-being. In warm, humid summers, their blossoms attract large numbers of bees, earning them the nickname “bee trees.”
